]]>After 26 days shooting on the snow this year it felt really good to switch gears and do some summer shoots again. This shot was taken at Miller Motorsports Park as the sun was setting. A single strobe was used to light the bike.

]]>This shot of Wild Card World Superbike rider Jake Zemke was taken during the USA round of SBK at Miller Motorsports Park.
I shot this during the Friday free-practice session with my new 100-400mm lense. This shot has not been cropped during post processing and is almost straight out of the camera. I love the way the white rumble strip casts a soft light onto the rider. The red, white and blue on the bike and leathers also help this shot significantly.
It was hard not to pick a shot of Ben Spies because of his double race victory at this race. And although I am happy with some of the shots I took of Ben it was sharpness and color in this shot that made me pick it for June submission.

]]>I was commissioned to photograph and create a photobook for the owner of this Chevrolet Camaro. The book documented the history and building of the car. The most special feature of this Camaro is the ZL-1 engine so I wanted a photograph that captured the beauty of the car as well as showing the engine. Using a tri-pod I shot two frames, one with the hood up and the other with the hood down. Later in photoshop I combined the two images.

]]>This shot was taken to be used for the lead image in an article I did on a technical article for Diesel World Magazine. I needed something that showed the performance of the H&S Performance truck and nothing screams power like a good old smoky burnout.
